Foragers Search Today
For those who dont live in the westcountry, you probably wont know about these two dogs, but they have been high profile in this area for the last 4 days after they were thrown from their owners van, when it was flipped over by a lorry running into the back of them, driving on a local dual carriage way at weekend. Our day was made when Forager tracked & found a lost jack russell who was very elderly and unaware of his surroundings and managed to escape his owners garden after a delivery driver left the porch door open. His elderly owner had searched everywhere and her neighbour called us into help after seeing one of our flyers at a vets. Fundraising And Training, The Never Ending Circle.
The need to be constantly putting the word out about K9SD, means we have to print leaflets and have a presence at local events, and this in turn all costs money, so we then spend time fund raising. We now have a nice little show set up which is all donated/loaned so thats great, and it means we can get out there and let people meet the hounds when they are relaxed, and tell them about the charity.
